Calotype privacy policy

This policy describes the Calotype iPhone app and its support pages. For questions or privacy requests, contact Binihaus at binihaus5117@gmail.com.
1. Account, content, and service data
- Account and sign-in: your account identifier (UUID), name or display name, email address when supplied by your sign-in provider, and profile image or image URL when supplied. Apple or Google handles your sign-in credentials. Authentication tokens are used to maintain the account session; the app stores session credentials in the device’s secure storage.
- Photos and selected uploads: ordinary camera capture and editing take place on your device. We do not automatically upload your photo library or captured photos. Profile images, preset introduction/preview images, and sticker images that you provide for account or preset features can be sent to and stored on the service. These images can contain faces or personal information; check them before uploading or publishing.
- Presets and community: preset names, descriptions, effect settings, visibility, sticker images, attribution or permission details, comments, likes, saves, follows, and associated account identifiers are stored to provide the library, sharing, and community features. Public profiles and published content are visible to others; private library content is associated with your account.
- Support and reports: inquiry titles and messages, replies, report reasons, descriptions, target identifiers, review outcomes, and account identifiers are used for support, moderation, and abuse prevention. Unsent drafts or reports may remain on your device for retry. In-app inquiries and replies are available to the account owner and the operator.
- Service activity: account-linked app-use dates and recent activity times are recorded to measure active use and operate the service. The daily activity records are kept within a rolling 30-day window. This does not extend the same 30-day limit to your presets, comments, purchase records, or other categories.
- Purchases: Apple processes payment. The service verifies signed App Store transaction information and stores transaction and product identifiers, purchase/expiry/revocation information, account association, and entitlement status. Transaction price and currency, when supplied by Apple, may be used for revenue records. We do not receive your card number or payment-account credentials.
- Notifications: with notification permission, your push-device token and account association are stored to deliver community and operator notifications. The service also stores notification history and read status. You can change notification permission in iPhone Settings.
2. On-device face effects and consent
Face retouching and makeup use temporary positions and relative depth of eyes, nose, mouth, and face contours on your iPhone. Separate, explicit face-data consent is required. Face landmarks are used only to apply those effects, not for face identification, advertising, or usage statistics. The landmarks are not uploaded to or stored on our servers.
Your consent choice is stored locally for the current account. In Calotype Settings → Face data consent, you can withdraw it. Face effects stop and temporary analysis data is cleared from memory. Ordinary photography, color filters, and non-face effects remain available. A photo containing a face that you separately choose to upload as a profile, preview, or sticker image is an image upload, not an upload of the face-analysis landmarks.
3. Service providers and sharing
Supabase provides cloud authentication, database, and storage services for accounts and service content. Apple and Google provide their respective sign-in services; Apple provides purchases and push delivery. Authorized operator access is used for support, moderation, security, and service administration. Service providers may process data in countries different from where you live.
Public content is shared according to the visibility you choose. Do not publish images or text you do not want other people to see or save. A shared preset or image may be copied by another user, and not every previously saved or exported copy can be recalled.

4. Google advertising and privacy choices
The free app uses Google Mobile Ads. Its SDK may process IP addresses and approximate location inferred from them; device identifiers, including an advertising identifier when permitted; ad impressions and interactions; and crash or performance diagnostics. These may be used for advertising, ad measurement, analytics, and fraud prevention under Google’s policies. This is separate from Calotype’s account-linked 30-day activity records. App Tracking Transparency (ATT) permission is requested before tracking across other companies’ apps or websites. Tracking for this purpose is permitted only if you allow it. Declining tracking does not mean that the advertising SDK processes no data; contextual or other permitted ads may still be shown. Google’s User Messaging Platform presents the privacy choices required for your region before ad requests. Where available, reopen them in Calotype Settings → Ad privacy choices. You can also change tracking permission in iPhone Settings. Active Pro access removes ads.
5. Retention and account deletion
Account and service content are kept while needed for your account and the features described above, or until you delete the relevant content or account. Daily app-use records follow the 30-day window described above. Face-analysis landmarks are transient device data, not retained server records.
Pro expiry alone does not delete presets. When you explicitly confirm which library entries to keep within the free limit, only unselected library references are removed. Originals of your own presets, including private presets, remain linked to your account until account deletion to avoid losing your creations. They are not published by this process. Community posts and photos already saved to Photos remain. Unsaved bookmarks do not automatically return when you subscribe again.
To delete your account, sign in and open Calotype Settings → Delete account, read the notice, and confirm. Deletion removes your account and associated profile, library, retained preset originals, public presets, comments, follows, notifications, support inquiries, and other account-linked service data from the active service, and clears the current account’s local caches. Photos saved to your iPhone photo library are not deleted by this process.
Limited transaction-verification records, including transaction identifiers and verification hashes, may remain with the active account association removed, to verify valid purchases and handle restoration or refunds. This is not a claim that every transaction-related value becomes anonymous. Limited records may also be retained when needed for an applicable legal obligation, a dispute, or fraud prevention. We do not state a single legal retention period for all data categories.
Where provider backups or technical logs exist, deletion follows the relevant provider’s backup and retention process; deletion from the active service does not promise immediate erasure from every historical backup. Other users’ saved or exported copies cannot all be recalled. Uninstalling the app does not delete the cloud account. Deleting the Calotype account does not cancel an Apple subscription; use Apple subscription management separately.
6. Permissions, privacy requests, and these pages
You can control camera, photo, notification, and tracking permissions in iPhone Settings; manage face consent and available advertising choices inside Calotype; and choose whether your presets are public or private. Contact binihaus5117@gmail.com for questions or applicable access, correction, deletion, or restriction requests. We may need to verify account ownership. Do not send account passwords, card details, or unnecessary personal images.
These support pages add no advertising or analytics scripts and have no account sign-in form. The hosting infrastructure may process normal connection information such as IP address, browser information, and access times to serve and protect the pages. Following an external link takes you to that provider’s site and privacy practices.
We will update this page when the app’s data practices change. The date at the top identifies the current published text.

1. 계정·콘텐츠·서비스 정보
- 계정·로그인: 계정 식별자(UUID), 이름·표시 이름, 로그인 제공자가 전달하는 이메일과 프로필 이미지 또는 이미지 주소를 처리합니다. Apple·Google이 각 로그인 자격 정보를 확인합니다. 인증 토큰은 계정 세션 유지에 사용하며, 앱의 세션 인증 정보는 기기의 보안 저장소에 보관합니다.
- 사진·선택한 이미지 업로드: 일반 촬영과 편집은 기기에서 처리하며 사진 앨범 전체나 촬영 사진을 자동 업로드하지 않습니다. 계정·프리셋 기능을 위해 제공한 프로필 이미지, 프리셋 소개·미리보기 이미지와 스티커는 서버로 전송·보관될 수 있습니다. 얼굴이나 개인정보가 포함될 수 있으므로 업로드·공개 전에 확인해 주세요.
- 프리셋·커뮤니티: 프리셋 이름·설명·효과 설정·공개 범위·스티커·출처와 이용허락 내용, 댓글·좋아요·저장·팔로우와 연결된 계정 식별 정보를 보관함·공유·커뮤니티 기능에 사용합니다. 공개 프로필과 게시물은 다른 사람이 볼 수 있고, 비공개 보관함 내용은 본인 계정에 연결됩니다.
- 문의·신고: 문의 제목·내용과 답변, 신고 사유·설명·대상 식별 정보·검토 결과와 계정 식별 정보는 고객 지원·운영 검토·악용 방지에 사용합니다. 전송하지 못한 초안이나 신고는 재전송을 위해 기기에 보관될 수 있습니다. 앱 안 문의와 답변은 본인과 운영자가 확인할 수 있습니다.
- 이용 통계: 활성 이용 집계와 서비스 운영을 위해 계정별 앱 사용 날짜와 최근 활동 시각을 기록하며, 일별 활동 기록은 최근 30일 범위로 보관합니다. 이 30일 기준이 프리셋·댓글·구매 기록 등 모든 정보에 적용되는 것은 아닙니다.
- 구매: Apple이 결제를 처리합니다. 서버는 Apple이 서명한 거래 정보를 검증하고 거래·상품 식별자, 구매·만료·취소 정보, 계정 연결과 이용권 상태를 보관합니다. Apple이 전달한 가격·통화 정보는 매출 기록에 사용할 수 있습니다. 카드 번호나 결제 계좌 인증 정보를 받지 않습니다.
- 알림: 알림 허용 시 푸시 기기 토큰과 계정 연결 정보를 커뮤니티·운영자 알림 전달에 사용합니다. 알림 기록과 읽음 상태도 보관합니다. iPhone 설정에서 알림 허용 여부를 바꿀 수 있습니다.
2. 기기 내 얼굴 효과·동의
얼굴 보정·메이크업은 눈·코·입·윤곽의 위치와 상대 깊이를 iPhone에서 임시 분석해 사용하며, 별도의 명시적 동의가 필요합니다. 얼굴 특징 정보는 해당 효과 적용에만 사용하고 얼굴 식별·광고·이용 통계에는 사용하지 않습니다. 얼굴 분석 특징을 서버로 전송하거나 서버에 보관하지 않습니다.
동의 선택은 현재 계정별로 이 기기에 저장됩니다. Calotype 설정 → 얼굴 분석 정보 사용 동의에서 철회하면 얼굴 효과를 중단하고 임시 분석 정보를 메모리에서 지웁니다. 일반 촬영·색감 필터·얼굴과 무관한 효과는 계속 사용할 수 있습니다. 별도로 업로드한 프로필·소개·스티커 이미지에 얼굴이 포함되는 경우는 이미지 업로드이며, 얼굴 분석 특징을 전송하는 것이 아닙니다.
3. 서비스 제공자·공개 공유
계정 인증·데이터베이스·파일 저장에는 Supabase 클라우드 서비스를 사용합니다. Apple·Google은 각 로그인 기능을, Apple은 구매와 푸시 전달 기능을 제공합니다. 권한 있는 운영자는 고객 지원·신고 검토·보안·서비스 관리에 필요한 정보를 확인할 수 있습니다. 서비스 제공자는 이용자 거주 국가와 다른 국가에서 정보를 처리할 수 있습니다.
공개 콘텐츠는 선택한 공개 범위에 따라 다른 사람에게 제공됩니다. 다른 사람이 보거나 저장하면 안 되는 이미지·내용은 공개하지 마세요. 이미 저장하거나 내보낸 프리셋·이미지 사본을 모두 회수할 수는 없습니다.

4. Google 광고·개인정보 선택
무료 앱은 Google Mobile Ads를 사용합니다. 광고 SDK는 IP 주소와 이로부터 추정한 대략적인 위치, 허용되는 경우의 광고 식별자를 포함한 기기 식별 정보, 광고 노출·반응, 오류·성능 진단 정보를 처리할 수 있습니다. Google 정책에 따라 광고 제공·측정·분석·부정행위 방지에 사용될 수 있으며, Calotype의 계정별 30일 이용 통계와 별도입니다. Google 광고 SDK 정보 처리 안내.
다른 회사의 앱·웹사이트에 걸친 추적에는 App Tracking Transparency(ATT) 허용이 필요하며, 허용한 경우에만 해당 추적을 사용합니다. 추적을 거절해도 광고 SDK가 정보를 전혀 처리하지 않는다는 의미는 아니며, 문맥 광고 등 허용되는 광고가 표시될 수 있습니다. 광고 요청 전에 Google User Messaging Platform으로 해당 지역에서 필요한 개인정보 선택을 제공합니다. 선택 변경이 제공되는 경우 Calotype 설정 → 광고 개인정보 선택에서 다시 열 수 있고, 추적 허용 여부는 iPhone 설정에서도 바꿀 수 있습니다. 유효한 Pro 이용권이 있으면 광고를 표시하지 않습니다.
5. 보관 기간·계정 삭제
계정과 서비스 콘텐츠는 계정·해당 기능 제공에 필요한 동안, 또는 콘텐츠·계정 삭제까지 보관합니다. 일별 앱 활동 기록은 앞서 안내한 30일 범위를 따릅니다. 얼굴 분석 특징은 기기의 일시적 처리 정보이며 서버에 보관하는 기록이 아닙니다.
Pro 만료만으로 프리셋을 삭제하지 않습니다. 무료 한도에 맞춰 보관함에 남길 항목을 직접 선택하고 확정하면, 선택하지 않은 보관함 참조만 해제합니다. 창작물을 잃지 않도록 보관함에서 해제한 본인 프리셋의 원본은 비공개 프리셋을 포함해 계정 삭제 시까지 계정에 연결하여 보관합니다. 이 과정에서 원본을 공개하지 않습니다. 커뮤니티 게시물과 이미 사진 앨범에 저장한 사진은 유지되며, 해제한 북마크는 재구독해도 자동 복원하지 않습니다.
계정 삭제는 로그인 후 Calotype 설정 → 계정 탈퇴에서 안내를 읽고 확정할 수 있습니다. 현재 서비스의 계정·프로필·보관함·보존된 본인 프리셋 원본·공개 프리셋·댓글·팔로우·알림·문의 등 계정에 연결된 정보를 삭제하고, 현재 계정의 기기 캐시를 지웁니다. iPhone 사진 앨범에 저장한 사진은 삭제하지 않습니다.
유효한 구매 검증·복원·환불 처리를 위해 거래 식별자와 검증용 해시 등 일부 거래 기록은 활성 계정 연결을 제거한 뒤 보관할 수 있습니다. 거래 관련 모든 값이 익명화된다는 의미는 아닙니다. 적용되는 법적 의무, 분쟁 대응이나 부정행위 방지에 필요한 일부 기록도 별도 보관할 수 있습니다. 모든 정보에 동일한 법정 보관 기간이 있다고 안내하지 않습니다.
서비스 제공자의 백업이나 기술 로그가 있는 경우 해당 제공자의 백업·보관 절차에 따라 삭제되며, 현재 서비스에서 삭제한 즉시 모든 과거 백업에서도 사라진다고 약속하지 않습니다. 다른 이용자가 이미 저장·내보낸 사본은 모두 회수할 수 없습니다. 앱 삭제만으로 서버 계정이 삭제되지 않으며, 계정 탈퇴로 Apple 구독이 해지되지 않습니다. Apple 구독 관리에서 별도로 해지해 주세요.
6. 권한·개인정보 문의·지원 페이지
iPhone 설정에서 카메라·사진·알림·추적 권한을 관리하고, 앱에서 얼굴 동의·제공되는 광고 선택·프리셋 공개 범위를 변경할 수 있습니다. 개인정보 문의나 적용되는 열람·정정·삭제·처리 제한 요청은 binihaus5117@gmail.com으로 보내 주세요. 요청 처리 전에 계정 소유 여부를 확인할 수 있습니다. 계정 암호·카드 정보나 불필요한 개인 사진은 보내지 마세요.
이 고객 지원 페이지에는 광고·분석 스크립트나 계정 로그인 폼이 없습니다. 호스팅 서비스는 페이지 전달·보호를 위해 IP 주소·브라우저 정보·접속 시각 같은 통신 정보를 처리할 수 있습니다. 외부 링크를 열면 해당 제공자의 사이트와 개인정보 처리방침이 적용됩니다.
앱의 정보 처리 방식이 달라지면 이 페이지를 업데이트합니다. 상단의 날짜는 현재 게시된 안내의 업데이트 날짜입니다.
